From a young age, Deon was always found sketching and designing spaces. Her family would frequently wake up to the living room re-arranged or presentations on how to change spaces in their home.
Naturally, her curiosity on how things worked together led Deon to pursue a career in design.

In 2011, she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Tampa where she now resides. After working in several avenues of design - from remodeling kitchens + bathrooms, furniture galleries, new home construction & commercial interiors - Deon decided to open up her own design consultation firm.

During a year long adventure living in Australia, dedon | INTERIORS became a reality in the year 2016. Since moving back to the USA, Deon has consulted clients locally in the Tampa Bay area and across the country.

When you work with dedon | INTERIORS, your designer gets to know you, the client, your pets, children, likes and dislikes before designing any spaces so that she can utilize your aesthetic according to your lifestyle. Each project whether done in full or room by room will be carefully curated from start to finish according to your schedule.

While not designing, Deon enjoys traveling, reading books, and watching her favorite sports teams on any given Sunday.
